Customer Service Representative

Excellent opportunity for an experienced customer service representative with a solid background in working with Customers providing professional and timely support consistently resulting in satisfied customers.

In this position, the Customer Service Representative will play a key role in advancing our efforts to provide an unparalleled customer experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with cabinet and/or door hardware, as well as demonstrated skills in providing consistent, first class service to all customers.

The Customer Service Representative will train, and work in our Irwindale facility, with potential to work remotely.

Essential responsibilities include:

• Work effectively in a team environment (physically or offsite) to provide superior customer service
• Process a variety of orders timely and accurately, update customer records, and respond to phone calls, emails and other inquiries or requests from customers in a timely and professional manner
• Provide technical support, handle product returns and enter return authorizations
• Accurately use CRM technology (Dynamics), advanced VOIP phone systems (ShoreTel) and Oracle ERP to support customer and team needs
• Identify and recommend customer service and process enhancements that elevate our service to our customers.
  

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

• 2-3 years of previous experience in a customer service role or similar environment.

Quality Control Inspector

What you will be doing

In this role, you will responsible for conducting and originating inspection of incoming parts and supplies used for manufacture of products. We are looking for a skilled candidate, whom not only has past experience but is willing to learn in the following areas: inspection methods, and the use of inspection devices to effectively test equipment.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring operations by ensuring manufacturing team members follow company-wide operation procedures
• Recording non-conformances and deviations, ensuring that only acceptable products are sent to customers
• Perform receiving inspection on incoming purchased components and raw materials.
• Determine and assist in developing methods and procedures for quality inspection and control.
• Apply final labels or markings as required to demonstrate product acceptance.
• Produce quality work on time Ensure associates, observe in-line quality protocols.
• Execute in-line quality protocols, final QC processes.
• Notify supervisors and other personnel of production problems, and assist in identifying and correcting these problems.
• Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications and make or order necessary process or assembly adjustments.
• Inspect products using gauges, prior to shipment.
• Generate spreadsheet for data collection.
• Reconcile final inspection documentation for shipments.

Experience

High School diploma or equivalent

• Ability to work overtime when required/some weekends
• Basic computer skills required; Microsoft Excel and Outlook experience preferred
• Experience with product testing, past quality experience required
• Being an active part of the team, helping to eliminate production obstacles to increase productivity

Assembler III

The Assembler is responsible for a sequence of operations to correctly assemble door lock mechanisms. The Assembler must be able to use a variety of hand tools — e.g., air drill, fixtures, etc.

The Assembler also has the following requirements:

· Follow instructions and test equipment to assure quality

· Responsible for meeting assembly hourly production quota

· Attention to detail, to assure quality assurance at a timely manner

· Able to lift up to 50 lbs for assembly; materials need to be transported from one area to another with a tray weighing a minimum of 15-50 lbs)

Instructions:

1. An assembler is to follow FIFO guidelines when proceeding to their next order.

2. Read and understand the order correctly and start the assembly process (Top to bottom). Product is to be assembled in pairs.

3. Start with the external assembly process

4. Place Knob/lever on work table

5. Attach plastic washers

6. Add grease

7. Place shims, plate and springs. (Depending on requested item)

8. Test handle to ensure proper mechanism function. (Verify that installation is not too tight nor too lose) Team lead can assist trainee with an accurate feel of a correct tightness)

9. Add springs/spindles to the handle (make needed adjustments as needed)

10. Proceed with assembling the inside component (Repeat 1-10 instruction

11. Trainee must complete Hour by hour sheet, with dates, times and discrepancies through the process. (This is to see how many locks the trainee completed in that hour, includes, trainee stepped going away from the dept.)

Department cleanliness:

1. Maintain a clean work station throughout entire shift

2. Only keep product needed

3. Refill individual bins/ shared bins

Training Stages:

Day 0-27: Must be able to complete 10 pairs per hour

Day 27-55: Must be able to complete 15 pairs per hour

Day 55-85: Must be able to complete 21 pairs per hour

Painter

Painter-Powder coating is responsible for routine and preventative maintenance painting duties within the manufacturing plant, including a full range of specialized painting projects. These include, but are not limited to; painting large parts, perform inspections, clean ups, proper storage, and disposal of paint products within Haz-Mat practices and operating various tools and equipment.

• Print orders based on priority
• Ship to date/Kanban work order/Fifo work orders
• Prepare Paint Equipment (Guns, Area, and mix)
• Oven gets clean and ready to use
• Racks will have Work Order (Quantity and finish)
• Check their PPE
• Paint parts – or apply powder coat
• Check oven-temperature-cycle
• Finished product to E3-E2 for processing

Education and experience:

High school or equivalent

Prior powder coating painting experience

Final Pack – Packer IV

The final packer will assist our final pack department as final checkpoints between buyer and manufacturer, packagers perform several important functions. They must ensure that all items are in correct order.

• Packing boxes before items are given to the consolation department
• Any prior package shipping experience is a plus.
• Positive attitude - have a positive can-do attitude every day.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to multitask.

Qualifications:

• Experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form is required
• Ability to understand safety requirements and cautions

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• The employee frequently is required to walk or stand for long periods of time.

Buffer

The buffer is responsible for the grinding, sanding or polishing of our different metals including stainless steel and aluminum and a variety of other metals with the use of hand tools or hand-held power tools.

• Responsible of grinding, sanding, cleaning, or polishing objects or parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand tools and power tools.
• Responsible for controls to adjust, start, or stop equipment during grinding and polishing processes.
• Measure and mark equipment, objects, or parts to ensure grinding and polishing standards are met.
• Verify quality of finished work pieces by inspecting them, comparing them to templates, measuring their dimensions.
• Record product and processing data on specified forms.
• Trim, scrape, or deburr objects or parts, using hand tools and equipment.
• Transfer equipment, objects, or parts to specified work areas, using moving devices.

General Labor

General Laborers are responsible for supporting various task in warehouse/production setting. They must be able to fill and support other departments in the facility, and they must be familiar with different job roles. They must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. due to supporting other positions when necessary. They must also have attention to detail to assure departments meet deadlines.

• Responsible for assembling boxes, labeling, and tracking packed productions
• Attention to detail to assure that packaging is not being sent with tears, cracks, or dents
• Attention to detail to assure that items in boxes are packaged correctly in accordance with the items' specific fragility
• Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling, and sorting
• Responsible for filling out forms and papers to record measurements of weight and production count
• Document quality inspection based on standard operating procedures
